Like joints, they are also slow-burning, but a bonus to blunts is that because of the dense wrap, it’s easier to add some of your favorite concentrates to the mix, packing a little extra punch. Unlike the previous mentions, pipes are fast burning, and because of this, you take bigger hits; this, in turn, could get you higher due to the increase of THC you take in at once.
Vapes, Bongs, and Dab Rigs
If you’re searching for something that hits stronger, look no further. Vapes, bongs, and dab rigs are some of the heaviest hitters on the market. When it comes to vapes, there are various options you can go for; a distillate cartridge is sure to meet all your fruity-flavored needs, or you can choose a live resin/rosin cartridge that gives you that classic weed flavor with terpenes you’re sure to taste. Vapes’ number one selling point is their potency in a more diminutive discrete form. They’re great for on-the-go or relaxing; all you must do is charge up the battery, and they’re ready to use. A downfall to these mechanisms is they can get clogged. However, there are ways to prevent clogging, such as pre-heating before each usage and storing it upright. Bongs are a classic for smoking weed; many consumers will tell you nothing compares to one. All you’ll need to operate one is some of your favorite flower, a lighter, and water. Bongs are fast burners with a filtration system; this cools down the smoke so you can take a bigger toke. The downside to this apparatus is that it tends to be on the larger side and made from glass, making them less portable and fragile. Dab rigs are great for people wanting something powerful. High percentages of cannabinoids and terpenes get packed into concentrates. Dabbing is considered one of the purest ways to consume cannabis because you inhale the vapor, not smoke. As dab hits are much more robust, less equals more. However, there is a higher level of complexity when operating one of these units. First, you’ll need a banger, which is a bowl designed for holding concentrates; a carb cap is another recommended tool so that you can get a more significant amount of vapor; you’ll need a dabber, also known as a pick, which is used to load the banger with concentrate. Unlike the other smoking methods, your classic lighter won’t cut it; you’ll need a torch to heat the banger and water to fill the chamber. Lastly, dabbing concentrates requires specific temperatures. One temperature may work for some, while the same temperature will not work for other forms of concentrates. Some tools assist in setting accurate temperatures, such as thermometer guns or e-nails/e-rigs, but at the end of the day, taking the perfect dab comes down to trial and error.
